You should meet more of the right people.
Let's Get Coffee makes thoughtful one-to-one introductions inside companies, communities, schools, alumni networks, and events, so the people who should know each other actually do.
Two things sit above every decision we make: trust and joy. People should feel safe enough to show up, and happy enough to come back.
Full of strangers who should be friends
Almost every community has the same quiet failure: it's full of interesting people who never meet. The events draw the same faces. The directory sits idle. New members drift away because they “never really connected.”
It's not for lack of good people, and it isn't really a discovery problem. The road from “we should grab a coffee” to an actual relationship is a series of small steps: knowing who to meet, making the first move, getting a yes on both sides, finding a time and a place, following up.
Each step adds a little friction. Each one seems small. Together, they're why most of those coffees never happen.
The right introduction can change a place
Lower the friction at each step (do the discovery, make the first move feel invited, take the back-and-forth out of scheduling) and a member list becomes a network. That's what we build.
Why relationships are harder than they lookIntentional serendipity
We answer one question for every member: who should I meet next?
See the ideas behind Let's Get CoffeeWe do the discovery
A directory tells you who exists. We figure out who you'd actually click with, and tell you why.
We make the introduction
One person worth meeting, a reason it matters, and an easy way to grab a coffee. No cold outreach.
We keep it going
Small introductions compound. Start a round, and the invites and reminders take care of themselves.
You measure individual strengths. What about social capital?
Organizations invest heavily in understanding their people: skills, performance, engagement, retention. The relationships between those people get far less attention.
Who trusts whom? Where does knowledge flow? Which teams are still strangers? That's your organization's social capital, and most leave it to chance.
Individual strengths
What each person knows and can do.
- Skills
- Experience
- Training
- Expertise
- Individual performance
- Career development
Social capital
What people can do because they know and trust one another.
- Relationships
- Trust
- Belonging
- Knowledge sharing
- Mentorship
- Cross-team collaboration
Strong organizations invest in both.
Skills may exist throughout an organization, but social capital shapes how easily knowledge, support, and opportunity move between people.
Your organization may already have the talent. Relationships help that talent move.
- A colleague shares context before a mistake is made.
- A mentor opens a new path.
- A new employee finds someone they can ask for help.
MilestonesSelected for the Harvard Business School Foundry Bootcamp
Fall 2026 cohort
In fall 2026, Let's Get Coffee was selected for the Harvard Business School Foundry Bootcamp, an eight-week program for founders run by Harvard Business School's HBS Foundry.
Its rhythm is how we like to build: get clear on the problem, test every assumption with the people who live it, and earn each next step. It's also, fittingly, a program built on founders meeting founders they'd never have met otherwise, which is the whole idea behind Let's Get Coffee.
To be clear about what this is: a founder program we were selected for. It isn't an investment, a partnership, or an endorsement from Harvard.
A few things we hold to
The product is warm, calm, and a little playful on purpose. These are the principles behind it.
Trust
People should never feel exposed, pushed, or randomly matched. You stay in control of what you share and how often you take part.
Joy
Meeting someone new should feel warm, light, and worth it, never awkward, transactional, or forced.
Intentionality
Every introduction has a clear reason. One person you should know, chosen for you, and we tell you why.
Respect
Participation is always voluntary. Opt in when you're ready, pause anytime, and step back with no penalty.
Belonging
The product should help people feel seen, welcomed, and included, whoever they are and however they joined.
Honest by default
We'd rather show real proof or none at all. No invented testimonials, no fake numbers, no dark patterns.
