Pause introductions
Take a break from new introductions any time, keep everything you have, and pick up again whenever you're ready.
Updated October 10, 2026
Busy month, holiday, or just need a breather? You can pause new introductions whenever you like, and resume just as easily.
Pause
- 01Open Pause introductions in Settings. You'll also find a "Need a break?" link at the top of Settings, on Discover, and on your profile.
- 02Select "Pause introductions".
That's it. There's nothing to confirm and no end date to pick: you stay paused until you resume.
What changes, and what doesn't
- You won't get new introductions or nudges, and you won't be suggested to anyone else.
- Nothing already in motion is cancelled. Introductions you've received and coffees you've planned stay as they are.
- You keep full access to everything, and all your connections stay.
- Other members aren't told. Your community's hosts can see that you're paused in their list of members.
If you belong to more than one space, each keeps its own setting, so you can pause one and stay in the mix in another.
Resume
Go back to the same place and select "Resume introductions". You're back in the mix from your next introduction.
Want fewer introductions rather than none? Change your "Meeting cadence" on your profile to every two weeks or monthly instead.
